I have fallen most madly in love with you. A love that is so delicate and precious that even the beats of my heart would crush it.
It's a love that I keep, not in my heart, but just out of reach.
A place where I can't twist it and distort it or change it.
For it is a love that I do not need to hold or touch to feel.
It is a love like you. Out of reach, far away, but always there.

Noon
Azmir and Mona watched as Sylvia left without saying another word. Azmir felt a pit in his stomach. On one hand he was happy that Sylvia would talk to Gerald, on the other, he was more lost than before. That prize money would have been enough for him to move away from this city and build a life somewhere else. He sighed and poked the last of his food with his fork.
“Sorry about Sylvia. She’s a very closed off person. I don’t think she was always like this though.” Mona said pushing her empty plate aside and grabbing Sylvia’s plate of food and putting it in front of her.

Dawn
Sylvia took her time getting ready that morning. She had spent the night drinking and woke up feeling sickly. She sat in her kitchen enjoying the view of the forest from her windows. Her kitchen walls were almost entirely made up of windows so she could look out into the forest that surrounds her home. Plants also lined the shelves and floor. Sylvia plucked a mint leaf off the plant on her table and crushed it between her fingers. She inhaled a few deep breaths from the mint in an attempt to reduce her headache. Mona, Sylvia’s assistant, was tinkering at the stove preparing Sylvia’s morning tea.
